Every step, from design to handover, was exceptionally well managed, easy, and were completed earlier than expected.

We have renovated several properties and have had many issues with tradespeople cutting corners and using inferior piping/fittings/etc that end up costing us much more in the long run. Refreshingly, the team at Principal Renovations are top-notch and all work is thoroughly supervised and inspected before moving on to the next step.

We have worked out that Principal Renovations have actually saved us money, not only because we were able to rent out this property sooner than predicted, but also in that we now have a premium rental property which attracts premium rental income and excellent tenants.

The process was smooth, and Matt and Sharon are delightful to deal with. Tradies were polite and on time, kept us updated with progress and kept the site clean. It started with the initial consult, where Matt discussed our options and listened to our thoughts. He was great at either putting our ideas into reality or suggesting a better alternative.  The final plans allowed us to materially change how every room in the house functioned, making for better flow and use of space.

They completely gutted our 4 bedroom house and re-fitted the kitchen, 2.5 bathrooms and laundry, including some minor structural changes (While we lived in the house). Everything went exactly to schedule and there were no hiccups, which was important with the completion date one week before Christmas. Pricing was exactly as quoted, with the only variations being due to changes we requested along the way. There were no delays in materials either, which is quite an achievement given the COVID environment.

The quality of the workmanship is exceptional, and every tradeperson who came to the property was polite, courteous and professional. The team was fantastic and aware of our primary school aged kids, who are both curious and sensitive to change, and our pets.

The entire project turned out better than we could have expected. We couldn't imagine needing to change our house again, but if we did we'd gladly use Matt and his team in the future.
